HECLA recently organized a memorable seminar in Iceland as part of the 50th-anniversary celebrations of its parent company, EFLA.
From October 9 to 15, the entire HECLA team gathered in the enchanting setting of Iceland for productive work meetings and shared moments with the entire EFLA group. Discussions, involving teams from various subsidiaries of the group in Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Poland, the United Kingdom, and France, focused on ongoing innovative projects, the remarkable growth of each entity, and operational synergies within the group.
HECLA employees had the opportunity to exchange ideas with their EFLA counterparts and took advantage of the occasion to strengthen the bonds between the teams.
In addition to meetings, participants had the chance to explore the spectacular landscapes of Iceland, with organized visits to iconic sites such as geysers, majestic waterfalls, black sand beaches, the Blue Lagoon, and, of course, the HEKLA volcano itself, reminding everyone of the company’s origins named after the volcano.
This seminar will be remembered as an exceptional moment of celebration, learning, and team building for both HECLA and EFLA.
